Benjamin S. Albert specializes in solving problems for publicly and privately held companies and individuals. He has litigated a wide variety of matters before the Massachusetts state and federal courts, including matters relating to commercial landlords, lending institutions and manufacturers. Mr. Albert 's litigation practice includes representing clients in claims involving business torts, employment, breach of contract, real property, bankruptcy, domestic relations, healthcare and criminal disputes.
Mr. Albert has argued before both trial and appellate judges, has resolved matters through alternative dispute mechanisms, and has succeeded before juries.
Obtained multi-million dollar summary judgment in breach of lease matter. Prevailed in jury trial of claims by former employee against corporation and its officers. Secured substantial judgment for lending institution in breach of contract case. Successfully represented national gun safety organization in federal appeal relating to regulation of assault and large-capacity weapons. Negotiated significant award for minor injured by an agent of the federal government.

Community Involvement - Led a weekly mock trial program with Citizen Schools, an after school apprenticeship program for inner-city middle school children. Committed to eradicating breast cancer by working with a number of organizations to raise awareness and money. Served on the Combined Jewish Philanthropies Young Leadership Board. Actively fought hate through his work with the Anti-Defamation League Helped ensure that justice is available to all as the citywide Co-Chair of the Greater Boston Legal Services Associates' Drive Executive Committee. Helped raise money for The Boston Bar Foundation as the inaugural Chair of The Boston Bar Foundation's Junior Fellows program.
